Once permastink sets in, it becomes exceedingly challenging to eliminate, especially with the current recommended laundering practices. Environmentally conscious consumers often favor short cycle, cold water washes to conserve energy and minimize wear and tear on their clothing. Unfortunately, these washing conditions are often insufficient for removing stubborn odors. Consequently, garments are subjected to extensive laundering, yet permastink persists as a problem. Some consumers may even resort to discarding their odorous performance wear, thereby significantly shortening the intended lifespan of the apparel.

Ease of Application:

MineFresh is added at the point of manufacture during regular processing steps. Padding is a widely used method for applying MineFresh to textiles. Padding involves immersing the fabric in the MineFresh treatment and then passing it through rollers to squeeze out excess liquid, ensuring uniform distribution of the MineFresh across the fabric. 

This method is generally preferred due its efficiency and suitability for continuous processing, making it ideal for large-scale production. 

While the exhaust method can be employed for application of MineFresh, it is less frequently used compared to padding.  Exhaust involves immersing the fabric in a bath containing the chemical finish and allowing it to absorb the treatment over time. This method is  effective for achieving deep penetration of the treatment into the fibers, ensuring long-lasting effects. Both techniques are  straightforward and can be adapted to various types of textiles, providing manufacturers with flexible options for enhancing fabric properties for odour control.
