UltraZeo Odor Control Technologies are designed for performance fabrics to help rid unwanted odours during and after exertion. As sweat accumulates during exertion, the water evaporates from the synthetic fibres of the performance textiles, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable. However, odor molecules remain and form chemical bonds with these synthetic fibers, trapping them within the activewear, producing distinctive malodor which is difficult to remove even after laundering. Depending on fabric types, odor intensity can differ.
Our odor control technologies work to eliminate the odor molecules such as isovaleric acid, ammonia and nonenal, that cause unwanted odors as they develop and are designed for use on a wide range of fabric types, such as polyester, nylon, synthetic blends, cellulosic fibers etc.
Our odor control technologies do not impact the feel and quick drying properties of performance textiles. They are easy and convenient to apply, with no extra processing steps required and provide a durable and long-lasting finish.
